Located on Cape Cod in Bourne, on a quiet hilltop surrounded by ponds, fields, forests, streams, walking trails, and our family's organic farm. The cottage was built in 1916 and was part of an artist's colony until the 1930's. Kahlil Gibran wrote part of "The Prophet" here.There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a sunny dining room, and kitchen. Outside there is a lawn and 2 brick terraces facing south and west, with views of the pond at sunset. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and surrounding lawn and patios Other things to note The cottage is not insulated and located in the woods. There are ceiling fans and fans for the house, but no air conditioning. There is no internet access, this is a place to unplug!
