Less than 10 min. from I-78 and 15 min. from Lafayette College (P'17) and dining destinations in Easton, PA, access to the Delaware River towns and Bucks Co. are at your fingertips. The space Situated on the Musconetcong River, known for its great trout fishing, and nestled between two wineries, the Apgar Stone House is just two miles from the Delaware River and the miles of tow path for your recreational enjoyment. Located just north of the Milford, Frenchtown, Stockton, and Lambertville, and their corresponding Bucks County, Pennsylvania communities, you will find an array of shopping and dining venues while exploring and enjoying the history and beauty of the Delaware Valley region. Just 15 minutes north in Easton, PA, home to Lafayette College you will also find numerous dining destinations. Come to relax, come to explore! Whatever your motivation, you will be surrounded by colonial charm with the modern amenities one would expect....kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker and standard cooking/serving items. Should you not desire to "disconnect" completely, WiFi is provided along with a Smart TV in the third floor sitting area. You will also find a washer and dryer on the third floor for your convenience. This property is best suited for adults and children 12 and over. Given the challenges sometimes presented by "old homes," during extreme hot weather, the bedroom with two twin beds may not be as comfortable as the rest of the home as is it not supplied with central air. We wanted to be up front and disclose that in this listing. Also, there is another safety feature of a portable chain ladder that can be extended from an upper floor window. Guest access The entire home is for you to enjoy. Other things to note As an old home with historic details, you may find in extreme weather conditions that the temperature in the house will vary from room to room and level to level. There are no storm windows or storm doors. We have done our best to provide comfort while preserving the historic nature of the house. That being said, it is not a house that you walk around with short sleeves in the winter! During extreme heat, there is no central air in the bedroom with twin beds above kitchen. There are extra fans to accomodate.
