Enjoy the Barnstable historic seaside village of Cotuit in this sprawling house with central air, nestled in the pines on a quiet street with private gated (unheated) pool, lg. backyard, firepit, ample parking, just blocks from Main St, Ropes Beach, scenic ocean views, fort playground, and Kettleer baseball. Each bedroom has a TV and ensuite bathroom! Relax in the seasonal sunroom overlooking the pool; grill burgers on the patio. Max. 9 (6 adults). Pool open 6/20-9/15/24. The reviews tell all! The space Note: our outstanding cleaners are trained in CDC standards. It is the Guests' responsibility to adhere to MA Covid travel orders, if any. 'Anchor Drop' is a spacious cottage with vintage charm, Wi-fi, and central air. It has three bedrooms, each with TV, a ceiling fan, and ensuite bathroom with shower. (No tub, but a baby tub is available). Two bedrooms have king beds; the third has a queen bed. All have comfy mattress toppers on them. There is also a cot, a queen aero bed, and a pull-out queen couch bed in the living room. The 'Captain's Quarters' bedroom opens to the beautiful back deck and is on the other side of the house from the other bedrooms, providing privacy for parents, grandparents, or guests. The large, three-season sunroom overlooks the spacious backyard, private gated in-ground pool, and outdoor dining patio. Extras include: unheated pool, seasonal outdoor shower (not enclosed), firepit and surrounding Adirondack chairs, booster high chair, Weber gas grill with accessories, flat screen TV, Roku and Wi-Fi, laundry area with washer/dryer, fully furnished kitchen with dishwasher, crockpot, regular and Keurig coffeemakers, microwave, and more. Included: Barnstable beach pass, cooler, fans, 4 beach chairs, patio table and chairs, large backyard. Bed linens/bath towels are provided. In 2024, pool will be open 6/20-9/15. This is not a party or event house. Booking our cottage means you have read the House Rules and agree to them. Book any day of the week (avoid weekend bridge traffic) 2. Shorter stays than 7 days accepted 3. Linens are provided (no need to bring your own sheets or towels) 4. Local Cotuit attractions: 4 beaches, swimming, golfing, fishing, kayaking, town dock, tennis, hiking/biking trails, Cotuit Center for the Arts, Country Club, public library, Cotuit Market, Kettle Ho restaurant, Cotuit Post Office, the Cape Cod League Kettleers baseball (free!), and Mass Audubon's Sampsons Island Wildlife Sanctuary. Other Cape Cod attractions include walking/biking the Cape Cod canal, touring the Heritage Museum in Sandwich, exploring Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, whale watching in Hyannis and Provincetown, the Pirate Museum in Yarmouth, souvenir shopping on Hyannis Main Street, shopping at the Mashpee Commons, so many beaches, and so much more!
