Comfortable Cottage 1 hr 15 min from East Glacier

This is a cute and cozy, remodeled cottage all to yourself. This cozy place is not fancy, but is available for privacy when you are looking for something more than a hotel room. Internet was recently installed, so bring your laptop to watch shows. While the upstairs has been completely redone, the non-livable basement is older, non accessible and has sometimes the musty smells of an older home. This simple place will offer you the comforts of home at a price lower than other local venues. The space Full size kitchen, complete with dishwasher! Tiled bathroom. Bright and cheery open concept kitchen/living room. Toaster, popcorn popper, blender all for your use. Guest access You will have access to one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area and back porch/storage area. You do not have access to the basement except in emergencies. It is not cleaned or livable space. Do not go down there. Other things to note Shelby isn't the quietest town. For some reason noise carries far certain times of the day. The train is loud, dogs barking in the neighborhood, just normal noise in a small town! If you are bringing an animal with you, this must be approved by the owner. We prefer none due to allergies. There is an extra fee accrued as well if approved, and if you bring without telling us, you will be billed for it. In the winter, it gets very cold here. Frozen pipes are a normal issue that we have remediation for, but can be expected in Nov-Jan. In the summer there is no AC, but plenty of fans and if you open the windows at night, it can get nice and cool, blowing air in. However, it can be dry so dust is a part of life. In this area of Montana, although we seal the place well and use an exterminator, an occasional mouse and some spiders will creep in. If you see a mouse or evidence, let us know right away, but be aware this is part of Montana life. Long term stays, over one week, you are responsible for replacing toilet paper, soap etc after supplies run low. Host is off site, but available for any needs and will handle things quickly if anything comes up. Long term or last minute booking subject to availability of cleaning staff
