A quiet home nestled next to conservation land. You will be greeted by a big friendly white dog, hear the gentle water fall of a small pond. The downstairs apartment with private entrance is old New England with Cape Cod affects. The Bedroom has a queen bed. Second sleeping area has a Daybed with trundle and is partially open to the living area. Outside deck has a grill and shower for guest use. Close to School House pond, bike path, and 3 miles from beaches, shopping, and downtown. Great getaway if you are looking for a quiet space with lovely gardens just a short drive or bike ride to beach, restaurants, and shops. Sleeps 4 and perfect for a couple with 2 children. Guests have access to the front deck outside shower, yard, and grill. I live upstairs with my dog Marney. I usually give my guests their space, but am more than happy to engage when needed. I am in and out during the day, but am always available by phone or text. Family neighborhood down a dirt road. Though you feel far from town it is a short drive, easily biked. The Bike path is close (1/3rd mile) and connects to downtown Chatham and to the Cape Cod Rail Trail that runs from Dennis to Wellfleet. Unless you enjoy walking up to 3 miles a car or bike is necessary. Public transportation is available to Hyannis and Orleans, but not a good way to get around. The kitchenette is made up of a refrigerator, hot plate, and microwave. There is no exhaust fan, therefore cooking things like burgers or anything that would generate smoke must be done on the grill outside.
