A unique, cozy 2 bedroom apartment in Back Bay Boston area. If you like being surrounded by young people and activity, you will love it. It is between Berkelee School of Music, Symphony Hall, Fenway Park, Harvard Medical School, and Northeastern U. It is also within walking distance of most downtown attractions Prudential, The Church of Christ the Scientist, Copley Square, Museum of Fine Arts, Newbury Street, Berklee School of Music, Boston Conservatory, Fenway Park, and many other attractions. The space This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located downtown Boston. It is close to a park (BackBay Fen), shopping (Prudential Center, Copley Square, Newbury Street), conference Halls (Hynes Convention Center), music halls (The Berklee School of Music, Symphony, Jordan Hall, Wally's Cafe) and to the historic Boston Commons. The place has high ceilings, large wall windows, a sliding door to a small balcony. The furnishings are a blend of rustic and modern with tons of books, two aquariums (please feed the fish only sparingly), a queen sized bed in one of the bedrooms and a futon double bed in the other bedroom. There is a living room with a comfortable seating couch and a fireplace. The second bedroom is used as a study, but the futon has been converted to double bed. You will also have a 4 seat dining table just off the kitchen. The patio can give you space for a great morning breakfast or an evening glass of wine. I live in the place when I do not travel, so the house is fully equipped. There is a 4 burner gas stove with a good oven for those who feel like cooking, a microwave and fridge/freezer. The fridge and freezer are usually stocked and if you need anything, just replace it before you leave. There is coffee, tea, assorted sweeteners, and water filter (do not worry about replacing those). You will have a full set of dishes, glasses, cups, utensils, pots, pans, toaster, tea kettle, cutting boards, scissors, basic spices, cooking oil, dish soap, hand soap, sponges, paper towels and toilet paper. There is iron with a small iron board (look in the venetian door housing the water heating unit), and a laundry machine w detergent. If you need a dryer, there is a coin operated laundry in the basement with a dryer. Please note that there is no TV, but there is a projector with a pull down screen, use the wifi to connect to your Netflix. Please do not stream illegal sites. There are complimentary conditioner, body wash, face wash, razors, q-tips, towels - but no shaving cream. Guest access You have access to the whole property, use whatever you need for a comfortable stay. I co-host, so most of your communication will be with my lovely co-hostTim. He will message you ahead check in, and make sure you have the check in details and will be available 24/7 for emergencies. Once you get settled, he can answer any questions you may have. He tells me he with Check-ins and check-outs can be flexible, but must be okayed in advance. Other things to note In this apartment, I only host families, business travelers, couples, and solo travelers. Please, no more than 2 unrelated people. While we are open to families with children - this is not a children proof place. The buildings are all close together, and in buildings of this noise has a tendency to carry, and neighbors do work from home at times. Similarly, while the neighborhood may be party heaven, please DO NOT HOST PARTIES OR EVENTS in the apartment, it will be grounds for immediate removal. Thank you for your understanding!
