Great family vacation spot in a quiet and peaceful nature lovers paradise. Large and airy house sits on the beautiful Monomoy River. Eat outside and enjoy the sunsets from the deck. Full walk out basement has billiards table for evenings of family fun. Close to fresh water lake (great swimming for kids) and convenient to beaches, restaurants and grocery shopping. Linens, towels, beach chairs & umbrella all provided. Has kids bunk room for sleeping in addition to four queen bedrooms. The home is perfect for family holidays and friend reunions. Lots of space on three floors, including full walkout basement with pool table. Eat on the deck and listen to the birds while taking in great views of the river and sunsets. Large living room with HDTV and fully equipped kitchen for cooking together. All bedrooms and the living room have in-window air conditioning units, while the living room also has a ceiling fan that provides lovely air flow. Bed linens, towels and beach towels are provided (many Cape Cod rentals do not provide bed linens and towels). House rental also includes the free use of three kayaks for exploring the beautiful and tranquil Monomoy River (to rent kayaks on the Cape generally costs around $70-$90 per day per kayak). The river is bordered by protected conservation land, creating a nature lover's paradise: quiet, peaceful and full of wildlife. There are also several fresh water lakes nearby that are great swimming spots for children. Guests have access to entire home. Overlooking the serene and beautiful Monomoy River, "Countryside at Chatham" is a quiet family neighborhood. A fantastic selection of restaurants, shops, and entertainment just a short drive away. You will need a car as public transportation is limited. You can also rent bikes nearby and bike the Cape Rail Trail, easily accessed from close to the house. Chatham is one of the most beautiful towns you will find anywhere, with beaches, lakes and a quaint downtown area that hasn't changed in generations. Great restaurants, fun cafes and classic old fashioned candy shops await discovery (in the house there is a binder of information that provides a comprehensive list of places to visit)!
