Awesome house in the best part of New Orleans! Great for a romantic stay or a fun adventure. This historic Victorian shotgun house is newly renovated inside. Three blocks from our favorite stretch of Magazine Street, but in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. An easy walk to great food and shopping or a quick Uber/Lyft to the French Quarter. Walk to Commander's Palace in the Garden District or venture down to great Breweries just a couple blocks away. The space History with modern comfort. Our house is a traditional New Orleans double shotgun (basically a duplex as it is known in other parts of the country). This means each room connects through to the next with no hallway. The house was built in the 1880's and features original fireplaces and decorative plaster medallions. We just had the floors redone and everything painted. Brand new kitchen and bathroom. With high speed Wifi, central AC and heat, 12.5' ceilings, heart pine flooring and exposed brick - you get the best of old New Orleans and modern comfort. Keep in mind, this is a traditional New Orleans shotgun house, so there is no hallway and the bathroom is at the back of the house. - Fast Wifi - Roku TV with Sling (the same as cable tv) - Netflix - SNES Classic - Nest thermostat with central AC and heat - Ceiling fan - Fully stocked kitchen - Complimentary Keurig coffee - Shampoo, conditioner and body wash - Comfortable front porch - Memory foam queen bed Guest access You will have your own entrance with touchpad lock. I will send your private code and instructions the day before you arrive. You have your own private entrance of course and are welcome to use the comfortable front porch. The backyard is not accessible at this time. Other things to note We welcome people of all races, religions and sexual orientations into our home! Our house is a double and we live on the other half of the property (next door). We care deeply about our home and neighborhood. New Orleans has a housing shortage, so Airbnb can be a sensitive issue here.
