Guest suite in Charlton

Out in the country, on a lovely pond, we are in the woods with our own private beach. The rustic in-law apartment is on the ground floor of our house - bedroom (with small kitchenette) and bath, and a private entrance. Great for walks and canoeing and fishing and biking. We are only 65 miles from Boston, 15 minutes to Sturbridge Village. The space Private entrance leads to the bathroom and bedroom with a small kitchenette. There is a queen size bed and small fridge and microwave and stove and a coffee keurig. The overflow room has a double bed but no windows. There is a gas grill outside and fire pit down by the pond. Guest access Outside area is occasionally shared with my family if they are visiting. There is outside table and chairs and seating by the Pond. There's a fire pit down by the Pond. 2 kayaks, a canoe and a four person paddle boat are available - please note that life jackets (provided) must be worn. Some fishing gear. Swim at our private beach; life jackets must be worn by beginner swimmers. In the winter, there is ice fishing and snowshoes available for tracking or walking in the woods. Other things to note Our home is the last house down an unpaved driveway, about l/2 mile from the main paved road. We need to meet you when you arrive so that we can show you in. There is a walk through the grass and around the house to the apartment and we will be happy to help with any luggage.
