Anuhea House Akau - Beautiful custom-built studio

Relax in this beautifully designed custom built studio as you feel the Anuhea (a cool fragrant mountain breeze) coming down Hualalai mountain. Enjoy the high end finishes of hewn teak flooring, mahogany trim, custom built accents and natural stone bathroom. Located in the heart of Holualoa we are a 5 minute walk to Holualoa town with its local artist galleries and coffee shop. We are a 10-15 minute drive to Kailua-Kona and its beautiful beaches. Follow us on IG @anuheahouse! The space The studio is 432 sq.ft and located above our detached garage. There is a paved parking area on the side of the garage where you can park up to two cars. If you do have two cars you will need to double park (one in front of the other). It has a private entrance with keypad access for easy coming and going without hassling with keys. There is a washer and dryer just outside your door that is free to use but we do not provide detergent. The Kitchen has a gas range and cooking essentials. There is a single basin sink but no dishwasher. The bed is a very comfortable King size bed, actually called a Narrow King (72"x 80") and the couch is a pullout that is a double bed. There is a large built-in wardrobe for unpacking. There is high speed WiFi. There is an outdoor garden area that has cafe lights, table and chairs, a Covered BBQ area and cold water shower/rinse off station. We have done our best to create a beautiful, comfortable and relaxing space for you to enjoy. The studio, and most of what's in it, was designed and built by myself and then styled by my talented wife who is a professional photographer here on the island. We don’t allow children under 6 years old. Guest access Guest have access to a paved parking spot and the outdoor garden area, BBQ and cold water shower/rinse off station that is set up just for our guest to use. Other things to note Just a little about us: I've been here in Kona for a little over 40 years I was borne and raised here, my wife has been here a little over 30 years and we have two young children. This is our home and we have worked hard to make it what it is. We love to share it and have guest be able to enjoy it along with our home Island of Hawaii.
