Bright & inviting! Welcome to our charming cottage, a stylish 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat by Shales Brook. Relax on cool evenings beside the vintage Malm wood-burning stove. Enjoy modern comforts with central air, a screened-in porch, and a deck overlooking the tranquil waters of Shales Brook. The soothing sounds of the brook enhance your stay.. Located near fabulous Berkshire attractions, fantastic hikes, 15 minutes to the town of Lee, minutes to Jacob‘s pillow and 20 minutes to Tanglewood,! The space The space is a 970-square-foot cottage featuring an open kitchen, dining, and living area. The living room includes a wood-burning stove and a flat-screen television. Off the kitchen, sliders lead to a screened-in porch with a Papasan chair and small table. Beyond the porch, there’s a large deck with patio furniture. Upon entering the cottage, the first bedroom on the right has a king-size bed and an attached bathroom with a bathtub/shower. Adjacent to the main room is the second bedroom, also with a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV (for DVDs only), and its own bathroom with a bath/shower. The laundry area is conveniently located behind closet doors in the main room. The cottage features wood floors throughout, tiling in both bathrooms, central air, and forced air heat. WiFi is available, and a Nest doorbell is installed for your convenience. Guest access You have access to the entire house. Other things to note Please be respectful of our neighbors. Only two cars are allowed to be parked in the driveway, and no cars should be parked on the road at any time. Drive carefully over the narrow dirt road that crosses the stream. Park only within the boundaries of the stone parking pad, and under no circumstances should you drive over our lawn. We have a septic system, and any damage to it or our yard will result in serious fees. Only adults who can swim should be near the water, as the stream's water level varies throughout the year. Absolutely no smoking of marijuana or cigarettes is permitted on our property indoors . Thank you!
