Come rest in our pet-friendly cottage overlooking 2,000 acres of beautiful farmland in the shadow of the breathtaking Swan Mountain Range. The peace in palpable here. You'll feel immediately at home in the tastefully decorated yet comfortable Farm Cottage, just 10 minutes from Kalispell, or to Bigfork, and 30 minutes to Glacier National Park. The space The fully-equipped kitchen has all the essentials for actually making meals (though there are many great restaurants in the area). Grilling and hot-tubbing while admiring those views, relaxing in the hammock, playing horseshoes, and eating alfresco are favorites at the Farm Cottage. For dessert, create smores over the firepit, and gaze at the stars in this "thin place" that is the Flathead Valley. The spacious bedroom is on the lower level with a queen-sized bed and plenty of closet space. The adjacent full bathroom down the hall includes a washer and dryer. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA: Hike in Glacier National Park. Float down the Flathead River (there is multiple public access to the river within a ten-mile radius). Explore Jewel Basin and summit Mt. Arenas. Swim at Wayfarer's Park in Bigfork, and stay for the best sunsets in the valley. Bring or rent a boat and go out on Flathead Lake. Visit the historic districts of Bigfork and Sommers. Shop in downtown Kalispell or Whitefish. Take yourself (and your dog) out for a jog or walk on one of the many Whitefish trails. Fly-fish in the North Fork and visit Polebridge's Mercantile. Stay up late and gaze at the night sky. In the winter, ski on Big Mountain or Blacktail, dogsled, or cross country ski one of the valley's many groomed trails.
