This is a two bedroom, one bath home, This home is located in the heart of Haleiwa town. Bus stops are across the street. 5 minutes to closest beaches. Please read this important information as it will certainly affect your stay and our overall review, before deciding to stay with us!! ***** 1. This is not a hotel! You are supporting a local family, we are so appreciative of all our guests and our hopes are to give affordable lodging for all who visit our beautiful island home. 2. There is no AC. Both rooms and living area have ceiling and standing fans. Remember to open your windows to feel the trade winds blow, this is a very common way of living in Hawaii, especially in the country. 3. You will see bugs! You are in the country! We welcome you and want you to experience all the incredible things about our beautiful home, but unfortunately we cannot control the critters. We do what we can to keep them away, but you may see geckos in the home, ants and maybe a spider or other bugs. In the country we do open air living and this is all a very normal part of our life, embrace it or try to find something in waikiki! 4. This home is located on a private gated property with other residents. Please be respectful! Loud noise/music, laughing/talking should be off by 10pm Again, please take all of this into consideration before booking our home! If AC, silent comfort, and bug free zones are important to you, our place is probably not the best fit for you. Turtle Bay Resort is down the road, or waikiki is beautiful too! Wonderful things about this home… We are located in a private gated property. You will be very safe and close to everything that is convenient in Haleiwa! 5 minutes from the nearest beaches, walking distance to starbucks. There is a full kitchen for all your cooking needs. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second. A beautiful, covered, outdoor patio for meals and relaxing. Large yard. Roku Tv is available for login on your networks of choice. Please hang within your gated area, the above ground pool is not for guest use. When exiting property, just pull up to the gate and it will open automatically. There is a pin pad on the inside left of the gate if walking out. *** Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the home. ***No candles or incense or other items of this nature. *** If any Smoking, candles or such substances are caught being used in the home you will be asked to leave with no refund**** Parking Full kitchen, 4 burner stove, microwave, oven. Fridge, freezer. Please let us know if you would like to have a surfing or SUP lesson. We would be happy to share instructors with you. This home is designed as self check in and out, we are a phone call away if you need anything We are situated conveniently for you to enjoy all the luxuries of life on the north shore and right off the main hwy should you need to head to Costco (20 min drive) or to enjoy shopping and the Honolulu night life (45 min drive). We have a bike path around the corner that goes for about a 2 mile stretch. It's perfect for a bike ride or run and leads to empty beaches, away from the main stream. If you choose to not rent a car, our place is perfect for you! We have a bus stop about a 1 minute walk away. Keep in mind that the bus on the North Shore arrives every hour, sometimes it can be late. It isn't most ideal to not rent a car if you plan to explore. 7-11, McDonalds and food trucks are our neighbors, less then 5 min walk. We are just 15 min drive to famous beaches such as Waimea Bay and Pipeline. There is a bus stop is across the street. The bus is great in Honolulu, however not the fastest means of transportation on the North Shore. Comes every hour. There are shuttle services or taxis if you choose to not rent a car and need a ride from the airport with your luggage. * note: large luggage is not usually allowed on city bus therefore please plan accordingly. Please dust/wash feet of sand before entering the home to avoid clogging shower drain, there are water spouts at the bottom of stairs You will see an above ground pool, this is for our family use, no guest access, mahalo!
