Our home sits on a hill offering a beautiful view of the lake. 10 guests. Our private sandy beach is in a cove away from boat traffic. Our western exposure allows you afternoon sun and sunsets over the water. This 1.9-acre property has ample parking and is secluded. Co-Hosts live on the property and can assist. We respect your privacy and ensure your exclusive use of the house, the beach and the property overall. Primary renter 25 years or older. Quiet time begins at 10:00 pm. This property has been our family home for over 100 years and we hope you will enjoy its rustic, cottage nature. Please relax in its rooms, the living room deck, outdoor spaces and one of the best beaches on the lake. Look and you will likely see herons, cormorants and other animals – and maybe the eagles that nest high in the pines. Enjoy, and don’t stress if a little sand follows you into the house. We are pleased to announce this year’s upgrades include 4 new queen mattresses - in response to guest input. We try to continuously improve our guests’ experience. We also have new large capacity washer and dryer. Lake Lashaway is 193-acre warm water lake and offers opportunities for swimming, paddling, sailing, powerboating, and is regarded as a good fishing lake. We have a sturdy dock with heavy-duty cleats if you want to bring a boat. A host can help you get acquainted with navigating the lake. The lake also makes for a good 4+ mile walk. Disclaimer: All activities on the water are at your own risk. We provide firewood and kindling for the beach firepit. Please - no fires are allowed elsewhere on the property – thank you. East Brookfield is close to state parks and forests, hiking and mountain bike trails, unique locations like Old Sturbridge Village and Quabbin Reservoir, Museums, Zoos and Observatories as well as restaurants, craft breweries and wineries. Good neighbors all around - most are long-term East Brookfield residents. Typically quiet & very quiet at night.
