Our home sits on a hill offering privacy and a beautiful view of the lake. Our sandy beach is in a cove away from boat traffic with a gradual incline into the water. Our western exposure provides afternoon sun and beautiful sunsets. This property has ample parking. A Co-Host lives on the property and can assist. We respect your privacy and ensure your exclusive use of the house, the beach and the property overall. Primary renter 25 years or older. Quiet time begins at 10:00 pm. The space This property has been our family home for over 100 years and we hope you will enjoy its rustic, cottage nature. Please relax in its rooms, the living room deck, outdoor spaces and one of the best beaches on the lake. Look and you will likely see herons, cormorants and other animals – and maybe the eagles that nest high in the pines. Enjoy, and don’t stress if a little sand follows you into the house. We are pleased to announce this year’s upgrades include 4 new queen mattresses - in response to guest input. We try to continuously improve our guests’ experience. We also have new large capacity washer and dryer. Lake Lashaway is 193-acre lake and offers opportunities for swimming, paddling, sailing, powerboating, and is regarded by locals as a good fishing lake. We have a sturdy dock with heavy-duty cleats if you want to bring a boat. A host can help you get acquainted with navigating the lake. The lake also makes for a good 4+ mile walk. Disclaimer: All activities on the water are at your own risk. We provide firewood and kindling for the beach firepit. Please - no fires are allowed elsewhere on the property – thank you. East Brookfield is close to state parks and forests, hiking and mountain bike trails, unique locations like Old Sturbridge Village and Quabbin Reservoir, museums and zoos as well as restaurants, craft-breweries and wineries. Other things to note PRICING: To accommodate both small and large groups, our nightly rate includes 6 guests. Additional guests (up to 4) are $35/person/night. This is included in your rate when you request to book.
