Description
Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. Our home. Feel free to use our childrens books baking and cooking supplies and utensils. We walk with our kids to a school park, city park, Makoshika state park, and downtown. Glendive has some excellent local businesses and the largest state park in Montana at its doorstep. There is even a small lake with a bit of a sand beach that is just outside of town. Trails to hike, the Yellowstone river, and a small town experience await you. The space This yellow home was built in 1928 and the bedrooms are cozy. The home is not large outside of the bedrooms, but works well for our family. There is a small fenced in front yard and nice picture window. Not fancy but a functional home and space to sleep and stay while exploring Makoshika, Glendive, and the surrounding area. With two queens and a king bed we would not recommend having more then six guests but have the maximum allowed to stay set at nine because a guest requested it of us. We do have an extra fee per person per night for more then six guests. Guest access Entire home minus the storage shed, utility room, lift pump room, and the room under the stairs. Other things to note Main floor includes kitchen, living room, one bedroom and one full bath with no stairs required for access but a half step up through the front door. Remainder of rooms and second bedroom require using stairs. Air conditioner is “portable” and needs to remain in the living room where vented. MT nights tend to be cool and we suggest opening windows, shutting off AC and place box fans to blow cool air in overnight and shut the house during the day to keep temperatures lower in the home and save energy. There are four box fans and a pedestal fan in the home that can be used.
