We live nearby, so are usually not far, but we respect your privacy. If you bring a dog, we would love to meet and introduce our little furry guy, if you’d like. Around the corner (4 miles) from Blodgett Overlook, a favorite hike. Occasionally in late summer there is a fire ban which includes rings and pits. We will keep you informed of this regulation. Park your car right next to the camper. Bring your bikes as we are on a favorite county road for biking. Take a walk down that same road for instant exercise. If you arrive after dark your first night, we will make some extra connections so you find the spot. NO SMOKING. Inside OR outside! This is a forest (high risk of forest fire) and we are super sensitive to smoke residue. We can have a doggie playpen for you in the camper for night time or for brief stays alone—please just request this in advance if possible. You are fully hooked up to electric, sewer and water, so you don’t have to worry about any tanks or other pains of camping. Our neighbors do all value their quiet and aren’t incredibly social, but they are kind. They would help you out in a pinch for sure! But we want to honor their quiet forest life, too. Thank you for being on the same page. This is a quiet stay, not a party spot. Feel free to invite a few friends for conversation around the firepit, but keep the noise low and don’t allow puppers to bark a lot. Pleas drive slowly down the access road out of consideration.
