We own Tongue River Winery, and our home sits opposite the winery across the vineyard. It is a large comfortable home on 20 acres on the edge of town with no traffic, peace and quiet. We welcome all people. We speak English and German with a little French. Five cats also share our home. We keep this room (Vineyard) pet-free but do have a separate room for travelers with pets. (See the Sunny room). Wine tasting at the winery is free, and coffee and breakfast are provided. Our Great Room has a grand piano, wood stove, large TV and comfortable chairs/recliners. The Sunroom has a great breakfast area and library. Guests are free to wander through the vineyard or hike down by the river or pond. We are on a Dead-end road so there is no traffic or noise on the property. While the Vineyard Room is kept pet-free, we do offer a "Pet" room. We're used to accomodating guests with many different desires. Those who wish to visit with us will find us friendly and relaxed. Those who wish to spend all of their time in town or doing other things are free to do so. Our home is at the end of a lane on 20 acres. We have houses to the south, but total privacy in the other three directions. The large attractive yard invites calm and relaxation. Plenty of parking for vehicles of all kinds. A large tow-behind unit or RV can be parked at the winery with no problem. We have three separate listings: the Vineyard Room, the River Room and the Sunny Room which has a private entrance and is used especially for guests traveling with pets.
