“La Casita” is a private waterfront home near Umass medical! Modern 1-2 bedroom home with a spacious Master Bedroom on the second floor and a multi use room that can be used as a second bedroom with a full size futon. The bathroom has a full-size tub and ceiling vent. There is a 3 season porch with a dining nook which leads out to a big outdoor deck. There are ceiling fans in the living room, Master and multi-use room. No pets or smokers please. There are water toys/gear for renters use. Private beach area located just below the 22x13 square foot deck for sunshine fun and relaxation! This is a shared beach but only with one other home on the same lot. I live about a block away so I may be available if necessary and definitely accessible by phone for any questions! I've lived in this neighborhood for 16 years because it's a great, family oriented area with of course the lake being the best ammenity! Umass medical is also approximately 2 miles away and there is a beautiful state park less than a mile away! The park has a beach area, public restrooms, tennis courts, a walking/jogging track and picnic area with tables. There is also an indoor ice skating rink across the street from the park where they offer public skating time. There is a plaza less than a mile away that has a Pub 99, Chuck E Cheese, CVS, Chinese Restaurant and Dry Cleaners. In the other direction there are four large plazas with an abundance of eateries, shops and stores. Downtown is only about 4 miles away and has several restaurants, bars, the Hanover Theater, the DCU Center indoor arena, Palladium music hall and more. The Canal district is about 3 miles away and also has several restaurants, bars, Public Marketplace and the WooSox Polar Park stadium which is the Red Sox minor league team. Shrewsbury Street is also about 3 miles away and also has plenty of restaurants and bars. This is a public bus line but there is also private off-street parking for two vehicles with this rental. It's a great area for walking and jogging!
