Nearby Appalachian and Rails to Trails network. Car is best to get around but we are 15 minutes from NJ transit Newfoundland bus stop (Route 23 & Ride at Kanouse Rd). Can also take bus to Warwick, NY (15 mins from house). Bus from Port Authority is surprisingly easy/pleasant, just make sure you have someone to pick you up! There are steep stairs down to the lake. Please use caution. The 3rd bedroom is located at the basement level and accessible via the basement or patio. All bathrooms are located on the main/ground floor. The stairs down to the basement has a low ceiling but then goes to full height. Watch your head!
