Description
Cozy and comfortable, located about a mile from the medical corridor. North Park and the Yellowstone Art Museum are only two blocks away, and a local favorite tavern is a short walk just one block away We are on the edge of downtown and the property is undergoing renovations so the exterior is a little ugly at present Smoking is now allowed in this listing since the last several guests decided to smoke inside anyway and now we can't completely eliminate the odor The space The site was initially used to house migrant workers and constructed in 1913, with ten small houses and a separate kitchen with a bell to call the workers to chow. When two larger buildings were built in the 1940s, plumbing was added to the existing structures and the exteriors were modified with breezeways, taking on more of their current appearance. A small manufactured home was placed in the corner of the lot in the 1970s adding four more small apartments to the site. The southernmost stucco building constructed in the 40s burned down in the 1990s leaving the site as it appears today. Of the 22 apartments in the complex, 16 have been remodeled in the last decade as well as other site repairs and improvements being made. Guest access Courtyard and picnic table Other things to note Near a main downtown artery, so there can be some street noise. This listing has a 14" queen mattress on top of a 14" frame. The height could be difficult for those with mobility issues.
