The home is a historic gem located in the Holy Cross neighborhood of the lower ninth ward. The lower ninth was among the most devastated after Hurricane Katrina. We look forward to hosting you. The space This is a historic home built in the late 1800s and recently renovated as a modern space. The original architectural elements of the home remain intact with new finishes. One of the main features of this style home is the long galley hallway stretching the length of the home. We are located in the historic neighborhood of Holy Cross. The outdoor space is a work in progress but nonetheless tranquil and peaceful. Parties and events are not allowed. Each of the bedrooms is decorated with the goal of inspiring conversations, relaxing, and hosting your getaway. Whether you are a resident of New Orleans or are traveling from around the world, we hope you will find some solace and inspiration at our home. Please feel free to enjoy the spacious rooms and the art. Our hope is that you and your group will feel relaxed and at home during your stay. Oh and eating at Cafe Dauphine is a must!! Guest access Guests have access to the large backyard and the whole 3,000 square foot of the main level. Other things to note Parking is available on the street or in the front yard. Given that this home is in a residential neighborhood, and we respect our neighbors, we ask that you keep noise levels down- especially if you are in the backyard.
