Country setting with spacious patio, surrounding fields, and ample yard with hammock. 10 minutes to downtown and Smith College. Guests love our location, with its fields and peace and quiet. If walking to the center of Northampton is important to you, our location is a bit too far. *Ubers can be hard to get.* Northampton itself is one of the most interesting small cities in America, featuring coffee houses, over 40 restaurants, galleries and concert venues. The Pioneer Valley is great for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. Ideal for parents, family members and alumni visiting the five colleges and for those who love New England in any season. Our airbnb is LGBTQ+ friendly. Return to our home from your adventures and relax in the guest room (queen-sized bed) or in our sunny family room. We have flat-screen TV in the bedroom too with Roku. Wifi too. If you want the house warmer or cooler, just ask. While we do not offer use of our stove/oven, feel free to use the refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen ware. As this is our home, we may have friends over for dinner or for a visit. We have two quiet cats and are nonsmokers (no smoking, please). Checkout by 10:00 a.m. Looking forward to meeting you! You'll have the adjoining bathroom to yourselves, as well as shared use of the family room and kitchen use of a guest refrigerator, microwave and dishes (though not the stove). Feel free to hang out on our deck in back. Please note: Occupancy is limited to registered guests. We would love to be there when you arrive so we can welcome you. (But if not, there is 24 hour access with our keyless entry.) For your morning convenience, we offer a Continental breakfast. Very rarely, we are out of town and will provide contact info in case advice is needed. It has a little of everything here -- a small city with every convenience, and yet beautiful fields, trees, sunsets. We are about a 10 minute drive to downtown Northampton or Smith College (or half-hour by bike using the rail trail). Uber, Lyft, and taxis are in the area if needed. Your car will take you to town in 10-12 minutes. *If you don't have a car, this might not be the airbnb for you because Ubers can be hard to find.* There are many things to do within Northampton - great music, art galleries, and restaurants. We are happy to give you information about local activities.
