Comfortable, clean, quiet room and private bathroom. We are 10 minutes away from our vibrant downtown. You have access to the living and dining room, patio, yard, and nearby hiking trails. We love hosting and we take our hosting seriously to make our guests happy. Please understand that you are booking a homeshare listing, sharing some spaces with us if you choose to. Although our older home is “lived in," we work hard to make our home clean. We and our lovely cats are hoping to meet you! The space Private room with queen bed adjacent to your private bathroom in our relaxing home in Northampton. Country setting with spacious patio, surrounding fields, and ample yard with hammock. 10 minutes to downtown and Smith College. Guests love our location, with its fields and peace and quiet. (If walking to the center of Northampton is important to you, our location is a bit too far. Having a car is a good idea, as Ubers can be hard to get). Northampton itself is one of the most interesting small cities in America, featuring lots of cafes, over 40 restaurants, art galleries and concert venues. The Pioneer Valley is great for hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing. Ideal for parents, family members and alumni visiting the five colleges and for those who love New England in any season. Our airbnb is LGBTQ+ friendly. Return to our home from your adventures and relax in our air-conditioned guest room (queen-sized bed) or in our sunny family room. We have WI-FI, ROKU, and a flat-screen TV in the bedroom. If you want the house warmer or cooler, just ask. While we do not offer use of our stove/oven, feel free to use the refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen ware. As this is our home, we may have friends over for dinner or for a visit. We have two quiet cats and are nonsmokers (no smoking, please). Checkout by 10:00 a.m. Looking forward to meeting you! Guest access We will provide you with the code for the keyless entry pad at the front door close to your visit. We like to greet our guests if possible, but if we are not here (or if you come in late at night), there is easy access. Please note: Occupancy is limited to registered guests. During your stay We are happy to chat or give you as much space as you need. We have lived in the valley for decades, so would be happy to give you suggestions about restaurants, museums, hiking trails, and the five colleges. For your convenience, we offer coffee or tea in the morning. Other things to note We have two indoor cats - Coco (black)and Sophie. Sophie will snuggle with you right away and Coco takes a little while to warm up. If there is a third guest requiring that we blow-up our air mattress, we charge an additional $20.
