This is a totally renovated barn done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley. The space The location, modern renovation and the views make the barn a unique property. The views of the Lake and mountains are hard to beat. This barn was originally a 100 year old barn which was in disrepair but still had a lot of the fantastic wood. We dismantled it, refinished the wood, beams, and roof and repurposed everything to create this modern space. It now boasts a cement floor with radiant heat for an extra quiet stay. There are also 2 air conditioners for the summer. The kitchen is a Poggenpohl kitchen with upscale appliances: Miele, Wolf and Subzero. There are stairs leading to the loft which boasts another king bed. The bathroom downstairs is good sized for sharing. Note: steep stairs. The bathroom is all finished with cedar has a full tub and shower, a double vanity and Miele washer/dryer. The living area has spectacular views with a Jotul stove for extra heat in the winter. There is a propane fire pit on the patio with chairs for you to enjoy the stars and views. The Green Egg is also on the patio for grilling. The WIFi is excellent (600/35) so guests can easily work remotely and stay connected. There is parking right by the barn as well as a Chargepoint Level 2 EV charger which is included in the rental rate. We are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Guest access You will have full use of the barn and the surroundings. As it is a working farm, there may be crops planted for most of the year and there is farming activity. Other things to note We have vehicles that we rent and in the summer months they go quickly! We can arrange for the car to be at the airport for a delivery fee. If you are staying more than 2 weeks there is an additional cleaning fee. $150 total. No hunting on the property. We do have a lot of waterfowl as we are close to the Waterfowl Preserve. No fireworks but there are spectacular views of fireworks on the lake for July 4. This is a non-smoking unit. $300 charge for non-compliance. The stairs are steep leading to the loft. For stays of 2 weeks or more. Cleaning fee: $160 Please take precautions when operating the fire pit as the wind can come up in a hurry. Summer wildfires are prevalent so please obey all local laws. No RV/trailer parking. Please take care not to leave belongings and chairs outside as the wind can come up suddenly.
