Close to Decorah Eagles, Seed Savers Exchange, & Carl Homsted's art studio. We live in the upper floor of this modern home. A private patio area off of the kitchen that over looks the valley. A full bathroom with tub and shower. Generous fluffy towels, organic shampoo, conditioner and body soap. A drying rack is available to use. Beds have several pillows available for ultimate comfort. Private indoor stairway leads into the apartment from the front door of the house. Please remove shoes in the front entry way. Posted sign - "guest shoes". Guests have private patio over looking valley. We respect our guests privacy but are also available to help guide them to places of interest during their stay. Friendly neighborhood, includes deer, turkeys, many species of song birds, a variety of natural springs. Beautiful mornings to enjoy the sun come up as the animals make their way through the valley. The road leading to our driveway is paved. The driveway is gravel, there are some small hills up to the house. A coffee grinder, coffee maker, locally roasted beans. Reverse osmosis water good for filling up water bottles and making coffee and tea. The kitchen also has a microwave, toaster, tea kettle, pans and utensils for cooking if needed. Oatmeal, tea bags and a few other food items for a light breakfast. Ice is available in the freezer. Guests please remove shoes in the front entry. A space marked "guest shoes".
