Enjoy a cup of Kona coffee in this breezy spacious lanai (almost 400 sq ft) while looking at the tropical foliage. Located 10 minutes from the Historic Pahoa Village for shops restaurants & bakeries. Visit Fissure 8, Pohoiki Beach, drive over the lava flow & through the Tunnel Trees on winding roads. Old Town Hilo is 30 minutes away & Volcano National Park is about 45 minutes from here. After your adventures of the day, come back, relax, and then tuck into a comfy queen size bed. You will enter a large Hawaiian Style Lanai furnished for relaxing and visiting and even a guitar or ukulele to play. The Bedroom is behind it and is comfortable and accommodating with a Queen size bed, Firestick TV and recliner chairs. The Lanai and Bedroom (almost 700 square feet) and a private bath off the bedroom are where you will be able to stay. There is a full refrigerator and coffee maker available in the lanai. Nanawale Estates is just this side of a rural neighborhood. Some of the roads are paved and some are not. Some of the gravel roads do have puddles but the main roads to this house are largely paved with a short ride from them to the house. It's quiet but sometimes the Hawaiian wildlife like to make their presence known, bird song can get pretty lively! The chickens are feral here so you may see an occasional flock here and there adding to the sounds of the jungle. The butterflies and giant moths are amazing and geckos abound! You will be very close to the jungle so you will see things you may not have seen before so expect jungle friends as we live within their environment and take measures to keep them outside, sometimes they will still appear.
