The Butterfly Suite is perfectly located for easy access to the Hilo airport, downtown Hilo shops and restaurants, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, Richardson's and Honoli'i beaches for snorkeling and surfing, Rainbow and Akaka Falls, Kaumana Caves, Boiling Pots, Hawai'i Botanical Garden, Lili'uokalani Gardens and more local attractions. With its breezy, comfortable atmosphere the Butterfly Suite is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and small families looking for a getaway in paradise. The Butterfly Suite is newly renovated, with a queen bed and a sofa bed that can sleep 2, a kitchen equipped with any cooking utensils and appliances that you could want, including an electric cooktop, pots, pans, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and more. I also provide beach gear, including a beach umbrella and chairs, water floats, snorkeling masks (and a disinfectant spray) and fins, water shoes, wet suit tops and rash guards, boogie boards, and more. Please do not wander off the property into the neighbor's yard (do not pass the rock wall or line of plants off the driveway), or go upstairs into the main house (where I live). There is a free parking spot on the property if you rent a car. You can also rent my 2020 Tesla Model 3 on Turo, which also has a designated parking spot. Otherwise, Uber and Lyft do pickup at the house, however they don't run as early or as late as you would expect in major cities. There are no nearby bus stops.
