1 Bed / 1 Bath Garage Apartment in Downtown Baton Rouge. The space is 700 sq ft, very charming, and cozy. Short walk to our famous 3rd Street which has great restaurants, art galleries, and bars. Our home was built in the 1850s, and this is a 700 sq foot "basement" apartment below the main house. We have free off-street parking in the driveway next to our house. This spot is great for travelers looking for a value one bedroom or a unique place to stay. The space The apartment has a very nice circular flow from the living room, to the kitchen, to bedroom. Feels way bigger than it is. The bedroom: Queen Size Bed w/ Large Closet The Bathroom: Fairly small, so if you need a large bathroom you won't find it here. Shower is built into a classic claw tub. Kitchenette: This apartment does not have a full kitchen. It does have a small refrigerator, microwave and countertop induction range. Dining Area: There is small dining table between the living room and kitchen that works great as a social or work space. Living Room: TV in the living room has an Apple TV with access to Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, Etc. Guest access This Apartment has it's own entrance at the back of the building, and does not have any shared living spaces with the other apartment or main house. Other things to note - You are in the Downtown of a capital city, so street noise is moderate. - Southern Carriage Homes were built off the ground, so this apartment is below the main house. Foot noise from guests staying in main house will be heard. We grade it as a moderate noise level.
