Annisquam - a quaint village, two bedrooms
Description
Annisquam is a small village area in Gloucester, surrounded by a harbor and several beaches. Sitting at the top of a hill, overlooking the mouth of the Annisquam river, the house offers views and privacy. The house has access to a private beach. A lighthouse caps the beach a walking distance from the house. There are very pleasant walks here as well as the many art galleries, restaurants and historical sites in nearby Gloucester and Rockport. The space The house sits back from the road ensuring privacy and from the lawn one can view the water, the sunset and the gardens (at least in summer). The rooms are quite separate from the main part of the house giving guests privacy. They are light and airy and comfortable. One room has a door to the outside. I serve fruit and muffins in the morning. Guests can have this small breakfast either in my kitchen or outside at the patio table. There is a Keurig and a small refrigerator in one of the rooms for those who like coffee early in the morning. These rooms are always rented by one party so there won't be any strangers while you are here. Guest access I am happy to prepare coffee and pastries for breakfast. There are numerous places in Gloucester for dining. Guests can use the front door although there is a separate entrance should you want. During your stay Of course I will be available to help guests with any information or suggestions they might want. Other things to note There is no parking on the roads in Annisquam so once parked in my driveway, one needs to walk to the beach, a short 5 minute walk.
