Our basement lock-off, decorated in race themed décor, lets you Live life at Full Throttle in uptown Pella. From the use of race car parts as hardware, to checkered décor, to the race memorabilia on the walls, to the hospitality you'll receive as a guest enjoying a pastry from one of Pella’s famous Dutch bakeries, you will close your eyes at night feeling like you’re in Victory Lane! Explore historic Pella and it's rich Dutch culture when you're not relaxing by the backyard pond or racetrack. This airbnb space is the entire basement of our home, with a separate side entrance and lockoff to the top floor. It is 1700 sq ft of space, self contained with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, laundry, great-room and private patio and wired to a "whole-house" generator should there ever be a power loss. We love to welcome our guests as they arrive when possible and show them around unless guests request remote check-in. Fountain Hills community North of downtown Pella, provides luxurious city living while feeling like you're in the country with lush landscaping, community ponds and fountains. We are a 22 minute drive to the famous Knoxville Raceway and 31 minutes to the Iowa Speedway. Sidewalks line neighborhood streets great for walking or riding a bike. Pella was founded in 1847. We are a short distance to the Pella Historical Museum, which includes one of the largest working windmills in the United States, a 22-building historical village, the boyhood home of Western lawman Wyatt Earp, the home of Pella's founding family Dominie Scholte, and more.
