From here you are within walking distance of all Kona has to offer; from restaurants and shops, to swimming, the Ironman Village (in Oct) & the Christmas Parade (in Dec). We hope you enjoy your stay! KJ’s Place is a newly remodeled condo located in the heart of Kailua-Kona. The kitchen and living room open up to a covered lanai with views of the city and the ocean. Custom touches abound, from the granite countertops to the mahogany in the bathrooms to the grass cloth walls. Enjoy the luxury of a California King in the master bedroom after a long day at the beach...but don’t worry, the full size sleeper sofa in the living room is at least as comfortable and restful. We want your vacation to be as relaxing and amazing as possible and we hope KJ’s Place is the place you come back to again and again for your Big Island adventures. The condo comes with an almost full kitchen with everything you’ll need; however, we do not have an oven or dishwasher. We also have a washer and dryer, free WiFi and cable, plus an oversized storage locker in a common locker room right next to the elevator. You’ll have access to the pool with BBQ grills and a 7th floor sundeck which overlooks Kona. And, of course, Kona, the Big Island, and the Pacific Ocean are quite literally right out the front door. We are always available through the AirBnb chat or via phone. The Kona Ali’i is right in the midst of Kailua-Kona and you will be within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants, and attractions. There are a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance of KJ’s Place. Short drives down Ali’i Drive get you to beaches great for snorkeling, diving, and surfing. Since it’s one of the main routes for the Ironman Triathlon, Ali’i Drive is perfect for strolling, running, or biking. You have easy access to highways that put the rest of the Big Island at your fingertips. When you’re back and the sun is still out, enjoy the shaded parking that will keep your vehicle cool until your next grand excursion.
