This large studio is in the heart of downtown Dsm! It has so much character with exposed brick walls, original hardwood flooring, super high ceilings, and ornate bathroom floor tile. There is skywalk access across the street that will take you pretty much about anywhere downtown; A grocery store is around the corner with also lots of bars/restaurants. May-Oct the Farmer's Market is right outside our doors! There is a reverse osmosis water filter system in the kitchen! Wifi in unit! The space The unit is on a secluded floor with no other units by you, tucked off the lobby with a large tv that has cable. There is wifi in the unit! This is a historic apartment building that went under a huge renovation from head to toe. Back in the day it used to be a European hotel that kept some of it's unique features. For heat it is steam radiators. If you get too hot, we recommend cracking open your window. In the summer time we have portable A/C's. Keep in mind we are in the heart of Downtown Des Moines, so there might be some city noise, but we do have a sound machine. You will be provided with one free parking space. It is located literally to the right of the building on a surface lot. The parking pass will be on your kitchen table. Upon checking out please do the following- * leave parking pass on kitchen table *take sheets off bed and dirty towels in a pile *load and start the dishwasher * take out garbage bag and leave by front door *put key back in the lock pad Guest access You are on your own secluded floor with no other units by you. You can use the laundry room which is located in the lobby. The lobby has wifi too, so feel free to use the lobby at anytime. The Wifi in the lobby is "TheElliott_Guest" and password "european!". You can also store your bike on our bike racks! Other things to note The steam radiators make a noise, which is completely normal. This happens during cycles to heat up your unit.
