Located 2.2 miles from Downtown Hammond with all the shops and restaurants you could ask for. Centrally located within a quick 45 minute drive to either New Orleans or Baton Rouge. Connected to the main house by covered porches, this 950 sq ft Pool House with large great room includes a full kitchen with full-sized appliances. Comfy furniture overlooking the gas fireplace and 50" TV. South LA artwork throughout the house make this an inviting place to unwind. Full size washer and dryer are included in the bathroom for your convenience. Outside is an expansive pool deck and pool to enjoy. Porches keep you out of the direct sun and lounge chairs are available for those wishing to catch some rays. The pool is very unique with a lap lane built in. The pool is NOT HEATED. The property is well maintained, neat and clean. Dedicated covered or uncovered parking is available for guests. We are proud supporters of SLU athletics and frequently host parents of SLU athletes during their visits. We are sorry but we do not allow parties or gatherings of any kind during your stay. We live in the main house and are as available as needed to welcome guests and provide advice on where to eat and shop. We have lived in Hammond for the last 27 years so we are the perfect hosts to help you navigate Hammond and the surrounding communities. Hammond and our neighbor, Ponchatoula, are amazing communities that openly welcome visitors. Our downtowns are turn of the century and vibrant examples of Historic buildings revitalized to host local businesses of all kinds. Both downtowns are pedestrian friendly and a great place to shop. There is a list of our favorite places to eat, drink and shop available to all guests. We are easily located right off of exit 40 on I-12. The intersection of I-12 and I-55 make it easy to either head directly to New Orleans going south; Baton Rouge and Lafayette going west as well as Covington, Mandeville and Slidell, LA headed east.
