This is a very unique place, where one can feel connected with the elements; where your cabin have direct views and access to the river, immersed in the jungle with waterfalls, large swimming holes, a cave and your own private beach on the river bank . At the end of the lot, the stream ends in a breathtaking waterfall 500 feet down into the ocean! Please note that the terrain is uneven and a minimum of fitness is required to access the cabin and river banks. The space this cabin features 1 queen size bed with view and access to a very private thin gravel river beach with a cave accross . bathroom with hot shower. The cabin has also high speed internet . shared basic kitchen available in the newly added house. Guest access You will be able to use the river beach and swimming hole on your own right in front of the cabin where clothing is optional if you wish so. There is a bigger swimming hole with deeper water further down stream on property where you are welcome to jump in! Please try to avoid bringing heavy luggages to the cabin because the terrain is uneven making it difficult to carry. Other things to note Please note: This is a true nature-lover’s retreat. Our cabins are nestled in a jungle riverbed and provide the quintessential Big Island experience: the thrill of the raw elements and wild beauty of Hawaii. Expect the sounds of a rushing river or a midnight downpour, mud on your chocos, and visits from mosquitos (only active daytime, bug spray usually available but best to bring your own) and chirping koqui frogs. Please note that this place isnt for someone that has difficulty walking through uneven terrain. Basic kitchen is shared with the owner. There is a convenient market/restaurant about 12 minutes away that offers pizza and cooked meals.
