Welcome home to your basement suite home theater getaway! The entire basement is yours (bedroom with queen bed, bathroom, living area with supplied double & twin air mattresses, home theater, wet bar and microwave). Only a 5 minute drive (1.7 miles) from the UNI Dome and the University of Northern Iowa campus! Our environment is very cozy; always the gathering place for friends! The space We love to host; whether it's friends, family, or AirBnB guests, we love to make our home a welcoming place. Our basement is newly finished and the perfect space for watching movies, TV, playing games, or just hanging out. Enjoy the wet bar and mini fridge, or take a steam in the all-tile rain shower. This is our home, and as such, we (me, my wife and 2 children) will be occupying the main floor (kitchen, living area, 3 bedrooms, etc.), but the entire basement is yours. Please ask if you have any questions! Whether stopping through or staying a while, we would love to have you! Guest access The entire basement is yours. To get to the basement, walk through the front door and after 10-12 steps walk down the carpeted stairs. Please use the front door for your main entrance and not the basement sliding doors to the patio. We may be in and out during your stay, but will only be in the main floor common area (kitchen, living area, and 3 other bedrooms). During your stay We will be in and out depending on our schedules, but we would love to meet you and help you feel welcome and relaxed throughout your time here. We have provided a great "Getting Started" document and Guidebook for your stay, but you will also be able to reach us by phone if we are out at any time. Other things to note This is our home. Please be respectful and treat it as your own. Please remove shoes once inside to help keep our floors and carpets clean. Only registered guests are allowed on the property at any time during the reservation. As per AirBnB policy, any guest violating House Rules is grounds for immediate termination of the reservation without refund. This includes (but not limited to) more guests on the property than the number of registered guests, smoking on the property, pets on the property, parties, etc. We have 2 children that will be sleeping in their own rooms in the main floor. We ask for your respect and that loud noises, music, voices, etc. to be kept to a minimum. We are not responsible for any injury or bodily damage that may occur while on our property.
