Prentiss House by Thatch is a 20-room boutique hotel nestled between Harvard and Porter Square in an iconic Cambridge neighborhood setting. Built in 1843 and renovated in 2022, the building's rich architecture is complimented by modern amenities and fresh design, providing an upscale yet laid-back atmosphere. Using state of the art technology, roaming staff and a virtual front desk, most guests enjoy their stay without ever needing assistance from our staff. The space This direct-access deluxe king has its own private entrance off Prentiss Street, adjacent to the main house. Guests in this room are afforded a bit more privacy with this location but also have access to the main house to take advantage of our lounge areas and common amenities. The room is equipped with a king bed, table with seating for two, as well as our basic amenity package - a smart TV for wireless streaming, fast and free wi-fi and local coffee/tea in-room. PARKING IS AVAILABLE & LIMITED. You must reserve a parking spot ahead of time. Please call or email us directly if you wish to reserve a parking spot. Please note that Prentiss House is a limited-staff and service hotel. Unlike some traditional hotels, we do not offer any food/beverage service or daily room cleaning. Inside, our Parlour + Sunroom Lounge is the perfect place to flip open your laptop or enjoy a BYO beverage by the fire. Outside, our lush garden terrace is an oasis in the city. It’s the place you want to be on a crisp fall day or warm summer evening, whether you’re gathered around the fire pit or laid back with your feet up and a good book in hand.
