This is a perfect house at The Red Station for your family's Glacier National Park vacation. This is a comfy and private 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home only minutes away driving to Glacier Park's west entrance! Enjoy the free wifi, AC, laundry as well as plenty of private parking. The space The Stationmaster House is located on US Highway 2, the main highway to Glacier Park. There is a restaurant, bar, distillery and zip lines all within walking distance. Distance to Glacier Park International Airport is 25 minutes (18 miles), and to downtown Whitefish is 30 minutes (19 miles). The sleeping arrangements are as follows: master bedroom has 1 king bed, second bedroom has 1 queen bed, and the third bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds which include a twin over full and a twin over twin. Be sure and pick up a bundle of firewood at the nearby gas station if you plan to enjoy the backyard fire pit. Bear spray rental: If you need to buy or rent bear spray, it is $35 to rent two canisters for the duration of your stay, or $45/canister to purchase. If you end up using/discharging rented bear spray, there is a $15/canister restocking fee. You can select this option as an “Add-on” if you choose to book directly with us. Guest access Whole house, front yard and back yard, and designated parking area for Station Master house guests. Other things to note 1. While we can say we have the fastest internet service available to us (45MBps), we are at the gates of GNP and the service can be intermittent or slow in rare occasions. 2. The location is very convenient to accessing Glacier National Park, this also means you are right off the main highway, there is a bar next door, zip lines across the highway and a distillery all within walking distance. 3. Please be sure you are comfortable with the cancellation policy, there are no exceptions. We do not accept alteration requests to shorten stays that negatively affect our booking calendar, we will politely decline your request if so.
