This is a comfy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom family home only minutes away driving to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park! Enjoy a spacious kitchen, dining/living areas, a gas grill, and a fire pit in the backyard! The Stationmaster House is located on US Highway 2, the main highway to Glacier Park. There is a restaurant, bar, food truck, distillery and zip lines all within walking distance. Distance to Glacier Park International Airport is 25 minutes (18 miles), and to downtown Whitefish is 30 minutes (19 miles). This great house includes wifi, a new washer/dryer and a new heater and air conditioning unit to make sure you are comfortable. You also have access to self-serve kayaks and paddle boards you can load up on your car. The sleeping arrangements for a maximum of 8 people (kids count) are as follows: master bedroom has 1 king bed, second bedroom has 1 queen bed, and the third bedroom has two sets of bunkbeds which include a twin over full and a twin over twin. Be sure and pick up a bundle of firewood at the nearby gas station if you plan to enjoy the fire pit. You can also rent bear spray for the duration of your stay. Bear spray rental: Please give contact us in advance to reserve your spray bottle(s) or select this option as an “Add-on” if you choose to book directly with us. Glacier National Park Vehicle Reservation system (tickets): They are available online at the Park's website. If the day(s) you are looking to enter are sold out don't despair - you can still enter the Park with your vehicle before 6am or after 3pm! Please also be sure to review the Park's website regarding status of the Going-to-the-Sun Road. Whole house, front yard and back yard, and designated parking area for Station Master house guests. The fastest way to contact us with any questions or concerns is either through the AirBnB message feature, or to text us. We will typically respond to you within minutes from 8am-8pm. Messages after 8pm will be responded to no later than the following morning unless they are of an emergency in nature. This is right off highway 2, the main highway to Glacier Park. You can walk to a bar and restaurants and are very close to the west entrance of the park. There is 10 units total on the site but the house is located in a separated area. A car is best for getting around. There is a bike trail nearby if you like to cycle. There are some taxis, shuttle service and uber; however you should schedule in advance and sometimes be prepared to wait awhile. 1. While we can say we have the fastest internet service available to us (45MBps), we are at the gates of GNP and the service can be intermittent or slow in rare occasions. There is no cable TV so bring your password/IDs for your streaming service subscriptions. 2. The location is very convenient to accessing Glacier National Park, however, this means you are right off the main highway. 3. We don’t accept reservation alteration requests to shorten your stay, so please be sure your dates are firm before booking.
