Walker's Delight! House with 2 BR, 2 BA, 2-car pkg
Walker's Delight: 2 BR, 2 BA, w/ central air and 2 car pkg in the center of town
Description
This solar-powered, remodeled, house within a quiet residential association is 2 blocks from Commercial Street (and 3 blocks from the nearest beach). It has deeded parking for 2 cars and a deck running along the front of the house. Inside you'll find 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, gas fireplace, central-air, in-unit washer/dryer, and tons of windows. Enjoy the best of both worlds: have your fun at the clubs, bars, and cabarets in town then return to a peaceful courtyard setting at night. The space Our two-bedroom house is the perfect spot for a vacation in Provincetown. We completed a remodel in 2023 that included granite counters in the kitchen, re-faced cabinets, recessed lighting, new ceiling fans, and a tiled walk-in shower upstairs (a tub remains downstairs). The interior was also repainted top to bottom. In 2024 we installed solar panels so you can feel good knowing your stay is practically carbon-neutral! We've thought of all of the little details, like large beach towels, an InstantPot, extension cords by all nightstands and end tables for phones, computers, tablets, and CPAPs ;-), and extra blankets. This free-standing house is actually part of a peaceful 9-unit community tucked away quietly off the street, yet still only a short 5 minute walk to lively Commercial Street. There is central air-conditioning and heat throughout the house, plus ceiling fans and a gas fireplace. We are the only house in our association that offers TWO free parking spaces right outside the back door. The two-story house has a large deck along the entire front of the house (overlooking a shared courtyard, and with Pilgrim Monument views). There's a gas grill, table, and chairs for outdoor eating. Inside you'll find an open floor plan, with the living room on your right, and a dining room and fully-stocked kitchen on your left (SodaStream, InstantPot, Keurig, full set of pots and pans, spices, condiments). We also have a full bathroom on this floor with a bidet toilet seat and bath tub. Upstairs, there are two enormous bedrooms (especially by Ptown standards) with cathedral ceilings, ceiling fans, lots of windows, and tons of closet space. The upstairs bathroom includes a tiled walk-in shower, bidet toilet seat, plus a washer and dryer. We are legally registered with the Town of Provincetown to offer rentals, with Rental Certificate Application: BOH-22-201. Guest access Provincetown is a walker's paradise so if you drive, your best bet is to park in your reserved parking space and never touch the car gain until you leave. The house is in the central part of town, close to the East End. We're just over two blocks from the sands of Provincetown Harbor. This means you can walk to the Art Gallery district in 5 minutes. The center of town (Town Hall) is 10 minutes away. Two more minutes and you're at the Crown and Anchor complex (bars, nightclubs, restaurants). A few minutes further you're at world-famous Tea Dance at the Boatslip. There are bike rental places all over PTown if you'd prefer using bikes to reach further destinations (National Seashore bike trails, Race Point, Herring Cove). We offer bikes racks in the driveway. Other things to note Be sure to park in one of the clearly marked spots for Unit 2. Any additional cars will have to park on the street (metered spots in-season, free off-season). The Town of Provincetown has approved a maximum of 4 guests at one time. I can't stress enough that this is a quiet, close-knit, residential complex. Parties of any kind will not be tolerated. Have all the fun you want on Commercial Street, but please leave the partying there and be respectful of our neighbors when you return at night.
