Luxury renovation of historic shotgun home

Newly renovated, elegantly appointed Uptown home. Total gut renovation of a historic shotgun double, 1 block from the streetcar, close (but not too close) to Tulane, 4 blocks from Oak St, and an easy 10 minute Uber downtown. Two large suites (1 king, 1 queen) and a loft above the master (1 full) that shares the guest bath (ladder access - best for kids). Private backyard & grill. I keep my home in pristine condition and I'm seeking guests who appreciate that and will treat it with care. The space The original craftsman-double house was constructed around 1900. The facade and most of hardwood floors were salvaged; the rest is new. This is my own home, not a rental. In return for providing a "fully stocked" private residence, I'm seeking guests who are clean and respectful. I clear plenty of closet/fridge/pantry/bath space for your things. The space is best for up to 5 people (2 adults per suite and one youth in the loft). While the loft is air-conditioned with a new full gel memory foam bed, it's only accessible via a drop-ladder in the guest suite - and has an open window high above the master bedroom. My niece and nephews love it, but it's small for adults. I also have an air mattress that I can provide upon request. Self check-in is provided, but I'm happy to meet you at check-in to show you the place and provide helpful tips. (Totally fine if you prefer DIY.) Guest access There is ample free parking, and I have a security camera pointed at the street. The neighborhood is very walkable and friendly (grocery, coffee, restaurants), or you can take the streetcar downtown (scenic, but Uber is faster). I will be staying in the small totally separate apartment next door during your stay. (Whole-home STRs in residential areas are prohibited in New Orleans). Other things to note I vacuum & clean religiously; but I am a dog owner, in case you're allergic! I do not permit ANY type of smoking inside the house. Violators will be asked to leave and/or charged a $250 abatement fee. (Smoking on the back porch - with the door closed - is just fine.) Having rented a lot of AirBnBs, what I miss are the little things... cookware, wine glasses, spices, premium cable, etc. All of that is included. The back yard is a treat (I keep it nice).
