The main bathroom has an Victorian inspired theme with a clawfoot bathtub and is on the same floor as both bedrooms. There is a second bathroom with a shower in the finished basement area. * King bed in the first bedroom. * Queen bed in the second bedroom. * Den / office area, located off the living room with futon. The house comes with a fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker, and washer / dryer in the finished basement. The living room has a flat-screen smart Roku TV with access to Netflix subscription. You will be able to use the TV and high speed wireless internet during your stay. Main floor has spacious living and dining area as well as a den / office. French doors lead to a large screened back porch complete with skylights, fan and patio furniture. The front porch is also a screen porch with a swing. Also a great wooded view with Squaw Creek at the rear end of the property. Entry into the property is controlled by a wireless electronic smart lock that will generate a unique entry code that only works during your stay. This Airbnb was built in 1920's and has all the unique charm and characteristics of an older property. The house is designed to provide guest with total privacy with minimal interaction with the hosts. Keyless entry enables the ability to check into the house without a physical key. It is within a 15 minute walk to many area restaurants. Downtown Ames is just a few minutes drive to shopping and additional amenities! South Riverside Drive is a no through road. Therefore, making it quiet with no passing traffic. At the end of the S. Riverside Drive there is the Stuart Smith park area with a bridge that crosses the Squaw Creek. We are in one of the best location in Ames, centrally located and easily accessible to anywhere in the city.
