THE LOCATION We are located in the raw wilderness of Western Montana.  Our riverfront home feels like it is in the middle of the wilderness, and yet also is just 5 minutes away from town. *3-5 minutes to downtown Troy, which has a large grocery store, art gallery, bowling alley, bars, gas stations, an Ace Hardware, a library (with Internet access), Movie Theater, and a fly-fishing shop.  *Troy also has three restaurants, several bakeries, an ice cream shop, and a fantastic sandwich shop *3 minutes to Roosevelt Park, which includes a public boat launch, the oldest working bridge in Montana, two huge sets of play structures, a kids fishing pond stocked with tons of delicious trout, a frisbee golf course, a kids water area in the summer, a mountain bike course, and a huge festival for 4th of July   *Short drive to Cabinet Mountains where the opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing and water activities are endless *20 minutes to Libby, with more restaurants, an amazing Heritage Museum (with interesting old time mining and logging equipment), more grocery stores, workout facilities and the beautiful Cabinet View Golf Course *10 minutes to the famous Swinging Bridge over the Kootenai River on the way to Libby. This is the location of the popular Mountain Men program on T.V.
