John Edwards House

The John Edwards House located in the McIntire district in downtown historic Salem is a full house rental perfect for families traveling together looking to explore Salem. This 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house with a private secluded garden is in the perfect location to see all of the sights and not have to drive to anything! Only a block off of the downtown you can walk to all of the main attractions in Salem, or catch the T or Ferry into Boston for a day trip. Wedding parties and families love it! The space The John Edwards House is a full house rental that includes 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths (2 showers, 1 bath tub), a living room and dining area as well as an outdoor patio that seats 8. The first floor has one king bedroom, a good sized kitchen, dining area and bathroom with a tub and shower. The second floor has a king and queen bedroom and a bathroom with a tub (no shower) ; the third floor has a full bedroom and a room with 2 twin beds and a bathroom with a stand up shower (no tub). The outdoor seating area has a grill and is surrounded by a beautiful garden in the spring and summer months. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house. At check in I will provide a code to enter the back door. Front door keys are located inside for use during your stay. Guests may also use the outdoor seating area in the back garden that seats 8. Other things to note We prefer to rent to families or large groups of friends traveling to Salem for weddings or to see the sights in Salem. This is not a party house! It is in a quiet neighborhood with close neighbors on either side so please respect our neighbors and do not have large groups outside after 10pm. It is located in a safe neighborhood right down the street from the Salem Police station and only a mile from Salem Hospital in case of emergencies. *We require all guests to sign our rental agreement after booking.
