City Park Bungalow (Front Unit)

Welcome to the historic Garden District! You'll be in the heart of BTR: 1.5 blocks from City Brooks Park (tennis, playground, 9-hole golf, dog park, art gallery); minutes away from LSU, downtown, and I-10; and with easy access to hip restaurants, bars, and coffee shops along Government Street. Stroll around the neighborhood to enjoy its beauty or venture a bit farther to run or bike the 6+ miles of connecting paths. The space This is the main house with a studio rental in the back. The two doors that go between the two areas are deadbolted so there is no shared indoor space, but you may cross paths with the front guests outside of the property. PARKING: Studio guests get priority over driveway parking. There are two spots directly in front of the house in a designated parking lane. PETS: While I do allow pets, the yard is not secure so dogs will need to go out on a leash. The neighborhood is very walkable, and a public dog park is 1.5 blocks away. Please pick up after your pet. (NOTE: The dog park is closed on Tuesday and Thursday to allow turf to rest). LAUNDRY: There is a washer and dryer in the studio. If you would like to do laundry, please reach out to me, and if possible, I will give you access to the laundry room between studio guests. I also use a laundry service in the neighborhood, and depending on quantity, can arrange for guests to drop off clothing there. LONG-TERM STAYS: I welcome and offer discounts for longer stays. For anything over two weeks, there will be an additional $25 cleaning fee Guest access You have full access to all areas of the bungalow.
