Enjoy the serene outdoor patio overlooking spectacular panoramic views of the Quabbin and gardens as far as the eye can see. Your private entrance, 3 room apartment is situated above the garage with a one floor walk up. The apartment features a light and spacious bedroom with queen size bed and desk; a large, full bath; a living room with wrap-around leather sofa; and a coffee bar / dining area; original hardwood floors throughout; and the views from the windows are nothing but trees and beauty. There is no AC in the unit (somewhat rustic!), usually it cools down nicely in the evening but in a heat wave it can get hot. If you need a fan and it’s not in the apartment just ask! Petersham is a quaint town where year round activities abound. You will be a 5-20 minute drive from premier hiking trails full of birds and wildlife, biking trails, fishing and boating, and cross-country skiing in or on 100,000 acres of Quabbin conservation land. The Petersham country store is 5 minutes away, serving gourmet breakfast and lunch, offering local goods and hand made crafts, and internet access. Many local orchards, farms, and water features are open to the public offering seasonal activities and products. There are abundant local antiquing and fun adventures. Amherst and UMass are a 45 minute drive, and Boston about 75 minutes.
