Only a 1 mile walk to Coralville Lake hiking trails, 4 miles to North Liberty, and 7 mi/15 min drive to downtown Iowa City - all while enjoying the privacy and tranquility of being tucked in the trees. Filled with personal touches, this 5,000 sqft lodge comfortably sleeps 11 with plenty of private nooks for time alone and spacious areas for times together. Brand new furnishings (2022), comfortable new mattresses with luxurious Supima cotton sheets and more coffee and tea accessories than one probably needs. Get ready to be transported in this 2003 built cabin, complete with a stone fireplace, cottage garden, and artful touches. Guests will have full access to the cabin, all its amenities, and surrounding area. It sits on 1.8 acres of wooded land with a small koi pond out back and gardens inside the fenced in yard. There is a digital lock on the front door to give each guest easy, keyless access. This is a pet free home. I may pop in and out, I live just down the road if you need me. Light continental breakfast items are provided, message me if you have any preferences before your stay so I can have them waiting for you on your arrival date. Our cabin is tucked behind houses that sit along Dubuque Street, which is a well traveled road between Iowa City and North Liberty. There is a bike/walking path that crosses the top of the driveway that is busy with bikers, families, and people walking their dogs. We are only minutes from Coralville Lake and all it’s outdoor adventures. Located 2 miles north of I-80; we are situated between Iowa City and North Liberty. Thats only 7 miles (15 minutes) to Kinnick Stadium! Our drive is a long blacktop single lane with a short uphill through the trees. It is tucked behind houses sitting on the main road. See the photos to see the entrance. Once at the end of the drive there is parking; 2 cars can park in the garage and 4 cars can park in the circle drive. No more than 10 cars; it gets difficult to turn around. The long lane leads to a walking path so it needs to stay clear. Please avoid turning around in the neighbors driveway. Long trailers or RVs would not fit. Located very close to Coralville Lake and Lake MacBride. Bring your beach towels and beach accessories!!
