Baton Rouge suburban retreat w/ a southern front porch overlooking a large gunite pool & pergola. We mostly rent for LSU games. A pool table. 1500 sq. ft home w/ a vaulted ceiling. High-end appliances & granite countertops. Bedroom mattresses on adjustable bases. 2 smart ROKU TVs, free Wi-Fi. Resort feel. The pool is NOT heated. Parties/events for non-guests are prohibited. This rental is a guest/pool house. Facilities are for registered guests only. Maximum 5 guests or add'l pay. The space Our Louisiana Pool House is located in a very quiet residential area. A little out of the way but it IS the best in Baton Rouge - see reviews. The Pool is for your private time - not shared. We try to heat the pool for guests in April and May, and September - no guarantees based on weather and pool equipment. It is not heated Oct-March. When you book our place, you agree to all rules as stated in the contract. We are at the back of the subdivision with woods surrounding most sides - very relaxing and private. It is in the backyard of the main house but separated w/ an independent entry and parking. Enjoy our tropical garden and pool, secluded with no eyes from neighbors by a brick fence surrounding the yard. We give privacy to our guests so they can enjoy their stay. It’s the perfect place to unwind after business meetings, sporting events, visits to friends/family or just to get away from it all. Courtyard night lighting and fountains provide an exceptional, relaxing ambiance. Again, the pool is not heated Oct-March. Other highlights include stocking/catering options, away from traffic but in a convenient location: less than 7 miles to BTR airport, 15 miles to LSU, and 85 miles to the French Quarter in New Orleans. Although our main home is located at the front of the property, the rental has a self-check-in entrance from private, gated parking. Newly covered standard pool table. Please note the new queen bedroom is small with a barn door and curtain for access to a smart\Roku TV. Our primary goal is your safety and comfort in a very clean environment. Keurig and large coffee pot - a fully stocked kitchen. Very safe area and is gated for privacy. Note: we do not accept animals due to family allergies. Guest access Entire House. Guests will have access to the large gunite pool, backyard, tropical garden, long chairs, floats, umbrella, outdoor fans, outdoor patio set, BBQ pit, and southern porch furniture. Swimming is at your own risk - locks in the rental home for safety for children. Laundry is available on request on-premises in the main home. Bikes are available. Stocking food may be available upon request. Waitr delivers and Walmart will gather your food needs for pickup. Other things to note Less than 7 miles to BTR airport, 15 miles to LSU, and 85 miles to New Orleans. LSU or Southern U events are relatively close. I work occasionally at LSU and the drive is 30 minutes - however, for non- Baton Rouge visitors, estimate 35-40 minutes or so. Security Deposit will not be charged unless damage is reported. To replace the pool table top is around $350 alone. There are many other nice qualities for the home. There is a pool waiver that must be signed if you plan to use the pool. There is a charge for more than 5 guests: WITH approval - at least $150 per person per night.
