If you enjoy a walk - the neighborhood is a great place for a morning or afternoon walk. When you arrive - you may park briefly in the front to unload but please move your car to the driveway on the side of the house. When you enter the front door through using a keypad, in the foyer - look to the left and you will see the upstairs entrance which will lead you to your space! You will be greeted with a clean, contemporary living room with a Cindy Crawford microfiber sofa, 52 inch TV, kitchette with mini frig, microwave, coffee pot and toaster oven. This is a common space for you to enjoy. Your room will be the one to the right (Room 1)- which is a spacious room with a queen sized bed, desk for working (or vanity), TV and large closet space for storage. Private entrance directly from your room to the private sink/dressing area. The private sink/dressing area has a door that leads to the shared toilet/tub/shower space. The front porch has chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Smoking outside only. If you prefer the entire upstairs to yourself - book through a separate listing "Entire Upstairs with Living Room & 2 Bedrooms". Some breakfast amenities such as coffee, creamer and sugar are available for your use as well as a few snacks and some bottled water. Shelves are available to store additional food if you are bringing snacks or planning a long stay. You will have access to the upstairs. The downstairs is a private residence and has its own door. With this rental you will have access to the entire upstairs except the 2nd private bedroom (Room 2) and Room 2 sink area. Your room is the large room to the right with a queen bed (Room 1). If you need some fresh air - enjoy the front porch and garden. If you prefer to have the entire upstairs -there is a separate listing "Entire Upstairs with Living Room & 2 Bedrooms". If you need access to laundry - request and arrangements can be made to access laundry in the main house. We are not charging a cleaning fee - in order to keep this at $0... Please - 1. - Bag all your trash and take outside to the large trash receptacle in the driveway. Recycle should not be bagged and should be placed in the smaller gray container in the driveway. 2. - Bring down all your towels and bedding at the end of your stay and put in the baskets in the foyer. Quiet neighborhood in South Baton Rouge. Great place to talk walks - many people walk in the neighborhood. There is community park in the neighborhood as well as a Catholic Church - St. Patrick. Easy access to many restaurants and shopping by car. 5 minutes from Interstate. Parking available in the driveway. You can park temporarily in front of the house to unload but then please move your car to the driveway. Please park to one side to accommodate a total of 3 cars in the driveway. If you do not have a car - Uber and Lift are available. This is a 2nd floor listing so you will need to climb stairs. Note - Only registered guests should be at the property. No extra persons or parties are allowed at any time. Be sure to provide the name of each person who will be present when you make your reservation.
