It comes furnished with 1 1/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large living/dining room, and one bedroom with closet and a queen sized bed. We are located in the beautiful highlands of northwest NJ--about 60 miles from Lincoln Tunnel and 75 miles from Philadelphia. Nearby are historical sights, great hiking and skiing areas restaurants, brew pubs, and a train station. Private parking provided next to entrance. This apartment is bright and roomy and is located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a bustling town about 1 mile away. Directly in front of the apartment, there is small outdoor patio area with a table and 2 chairs for guests to use. There are 2 driveways. Use the lower and park in front of the garage. Door to the apartment is just to the right. You have complete use of the entire apartment which is separated from the main house by a stone wall. We will be available for help either in person or by phone. The neighborhood is residential, and has lots of trees and space. It has a nice country feel, but is close to town. We are located about 1/2 mile from Rt. 46, (the Main St. of Hackettstown), and within the same distance, there is the county library, a produce stand and a train station. Drive a few miles east and you can find fast food, Walmart, big grocery stores, movie theaters, etc. If you drive west on Rt. 46, you will go into beautiful northwest NJ, driving along the Pequest river, to state parks, to the Delaware Water Gap, to Hot Dog Johnnys and other long unchanged small businesses. Go another direction, and Rt. 80 can be accessed in about 10 minutes--about 5 miles. Although there is a nearby train station, the best way to get around is by car. The walk to the train is down a hill with no sidewalk. There is also bus service approximately 3 miles away. There is taxi service in Hackettstown if you wish to hire a ride to the public transportation. There are several steps in the apartment--as you enter the front door, there is a step down into the kitchen. There is also a step up into the pantry which leads to the bedroom, and two steps leading to the bathroom.
