Secluded Shades of Blue - Lake Bistineau Sunsets

Nestled on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, the Shades of Blue house is ready to welcome you to lake views with Spanish moss draped cypress trees and amazing sunsets! Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! Please check out our adjacent Red Camp if you need extra space for your group! The space Each of the rooms is themed in different “Shades of Blue” for the decor and the open concept living area is spacious with room for many! A favorite spot is the sunroom with its huge windows with views of the lake and property, small table for meals or games, and, of course, the foosball table! You can enjoy the fresh air and beauty from three sitting areas on the screened in porch - a great spot for morning coffee! Kids and game lovers will want to check out the toy selection in the office cupboard, and the little ones will enjoy playing on the cozy rug! We have sleeping space for up to 20 people, including 2 king beds, 1 queen, two sets of bunk beds, two twins with trundles, a queen sofa bed in the living room, twin pull-out ottoman, and a full futon in the office. The port-a-crib for baby makes space for 20! Please note the pricing is the same for the first eight people. After that, it is an extra $10 a night per person. The house is a unique in that each of the four bedrooms has an exterior door to the screened-in porch and an adjoining door to the neighboring bedroom. You will be able to pass through the other bedrooms or close the pass-through doors and use the porch as a hallway to the living area. The main bedroom has a full bathroom, and each of the other three bedrooms have a half bath. The other full bath is on the hallway for all to use. Please note that there are two full baths and 3 half baths. There is an open outside shower with hot water which is great for rinsing off from lake or outdoor activities. Coffee and tea are provided. Guest access For parking, there is a circular driveway, paved space next to the house, and a covered carport. Other things to note Shades of Blue is right next to our other Airbnb home, The Red Camp! If you are looking for a location for a business group, group of friends or family reunion, consider renting both properties and having use of 4 acres of land, both lakefronts and sleeping space for 32 or more people!
