The east coast is also dotted with white sand beaches, great for swimming, snorkeling, and surfing. One of the more popular east coast beaches is Kealia Beach, where you’ll find good swimming and boogie boarding conditions along the beach’s north end. This is also a popular spot for intermediate and advanced surfers to catch some waves. Also located along Kauai’s east coast is the Ke Ala Hele Makalae paved path, which follows the contour of the island’s coast for miles, providing a scenic place to walk, jog, or cycle.
