Located in the heart of historic downtown Sandwich, Upstairs on Main is the perfect place to stay for a vacation in the quaint seaside town of Sandwich. The one bedroom studio is located on the second floor of a historic building which once was the town post office. It's been newly renovated and is walking distance to several restaurants, shops, historic landmarks and a 2 minute drive to the famous boardwalk beach. The studio has a queen bed, 1 bathroom and full kitchen. The space The building is historic and is know as the old Post Office Building, built in 1865. Because of the history, the building has a lot of character. The property is a shared-use building. There are two retail shops located on the first floor and typically open 10-5. The apartment is on the second floor, up a full flight of stars and is across the hall from a bridal shop that is open by appointment. Other things to note The building does not have a designated parking spot. There is free parking on the street. Sometimes, you are able to park right next to the building and other times, you may need need to walk a minute or two. There is also the town library parking lot.
